Dissertation (2015) - My dissertation topic is on monochromatic wavefront aberration theory and nodal aberration theory. I used some space telescopes as optical models to verify the theoretical developments. Additionally, I developed a way to apply nodal aberration theory concepts to the analysis of the aberration function's field dependence of optical imaging systems having a freeform (rotationally nonsymmetric) surface shape. |
